Research Interest:Hypertensive nephrosclerosis, PAI-1, renin angiotensin system, glomerulosclerosis, progression, regression.

We have focused on potential differences in sclerosis in Caucasian versus African-American populations.
We are focused on the potential of remodeling of existing sclerosis, and interaction of macrophages and parenchymal cells in effecting sclerosis and interstitial fibrosis. We also are investigating the interactions of PAI-1, TGF-beta and angiotensin, using | BACK
