Nomination procedure
This award honors Dr. Conrad Pirani's legacy and contributions to renal pathology. The seed-money was donated by Dr Pirani in his will. The original funds have since been supplemented by donations from generous RPS members (please consider a donation to this fund when you renew your membership).
The intent of the award when established was to assist junior members with an accepted abstract whose financial situation made international travel difficult or impossible. Junior faculty (instructors, assistant professors) and renal fellows from the US and presenting at an international meeting, or working outside the USA and presenting at a meeting in the US qualify for this award. Documentation of need will be required for consideration of this award. Up to $1,500 will be awarded to the successful candidate (maximum of two awards / year). Applications should be forwarded to the Chair of the Nominations and Award Committee
