Liliane Striker Young Investigator Award

Nomination procedure

In 2006 the Young Investigator Award was named after Liliane Striker in recognition of her many contributions to renal research. The Liliane Striker Young Investigator Award was established to encourage excellence in the area of renal pathology research by young investigators. The recipient will be selected from those nominated based on the quality of his/her abstract(s) submitted to the ASN or USCAP Annual Meeting. Awards in the amount of $500 (US) will be presented at the ASN and USCAP Meetings.

Qualifying criteria and nomination procedure

The nominee must be the first author on the abstract and be nominated by a member of the RPS. The RPS member does not need to be a co-author of the submitted abstract but should be from the same institution as the nominee. Renal fellows or junior faculty with less than 3 years of appointment are eligible. Nominations should be submitted to Chair of the Nominating and Award Committee.
